The Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support & Safe Use of an Automated External Defibrillator is a half-day course that has been designed to give people the knowledge and skills needed to perform CPR and safely use an AED in emergency situations. In the UK, there are over 60,000 out of hospital cardiac arrests every year, the statistics show the importance of knowing how to safely use an AED and perform life-saving CPR. Sudden cardiac arrest is one of the UK’s biggest killers, and yet statistics show that most of the British public are unaware of the life-saving difference they can make by performing CPR and defibrillation. The Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support & Safe Use of an Automated External Defibrillator course is a nationally recognised qualification and is a regulated course.

Did you know that following a cardiac arrest, every minute without CPR and defibrillation reduces a casualty’s chance of survival by 10%?
